Disable Delete Confirmation Box in Vista

By admin | Sep 9, 2007

If you’re tired of Vista asking you if you’re sure that you want to do delete every single file you decide to move to the Recycle Bin, then you can disable the feature entirely.

Right click on the Recycle Bin and click properties.

Simply uncheck the Display delete confirmation dialog box.

I wouldn’t leave this setting turned off for good unless you’re absolutely sure.  It’s pretty simple to delete a file on accident, and this setting will surely let you know if you do.
