Lets face it, the regular Firefox downloader isn’t great. I can’t stand it, and I really can’t stand the download degradation that you get from regular downloading.
There is a great download manager add-on for Firefox called DownThemAll . It’s extremely simple, and has a ton of nice features.
It can scrape entire pages and show you everything available for download, like movies and pictures, etc. It has links in the right click menu to send links to DownThemAll.
It also accelerates your downloads like any good download manager, by breaking up the download into several different pieces, reducing horrible download degradation you get from normal downloads.
You can pause, resume, type in manual links to download, it’s just an all around great download manager.
Install DownThemAll download manager and make downloading better.
