If you think the Go button is unnecessary, since it’s so much easier to just hit the Enter key, you can disable it completely.
Go to the address bar and type about:config and hit enter.
In the filter box, type browser.urlbar.hide and you’ll see the browser.urlbar.hideGoButton setting. Just double click it, and the Go Button will immediately disappear.
