Everyone wants vista wallpapers, so I figured I’d post an article with the best ones I’ve found on the net.
The most popular vista wallpapers are by Hamad Darwish, which was actually contracted by Microsoft to do a few of the wallpapers that ended up in the vista installation. The nice thing though is that he has a ton of images that he took that didn’t make it, that you can still download. There are some amazing photos here, and nice large images too.
Another nice set was collected by a guy named Brajeshwar Oinam . There are a lot of them, primarily close up nature shots, but still nice. When you open an image, make sure you click on the All Sizes button on the top left corner to download other sizes besides the default, which I believe is 1024 x 768.. and who wants that size?
Last, but definitely not least, are some wallpapers I found at Zeroingin.com. These are adapted from some of the above images, and are quite simply.. f**king amazing. I’ve put them together in two separate zip files, one with widescreen dimensions, the other with normal dimensions. Most of the normal ones are just clipped from the original widescreen, but they’re all still very high quality images.
