MP3 Player Add-On for Firefox

By admin | Sep 1, 2007

If you’re a music head, AND a firefox geek, then you’ll enjoy this add-on that lets you control your favorite music software right from Firefox.

FoxyTunes is a simple add-on that puts controls into Firefox, so you can control your favorite music software right from your browser, instead of having to switch back and forth to change songs.

Foxy Tunes Addon for Firefox

FoxyTunes supports your major players like WinAmp, iTunes, Windows Media Player, Xbox Media Center, Musicmatch, Media Player Classic, Real Player, and a ton more smaller players that have niche followings.

I messed around with it quite a bit on my Firefox install, and it was pretty cool for simple song skipping and stuff.  It doesn’t give you the full interface to choose any song you want, but I still give it props for letting me skip songs when I need to, or pause, etc. without having to switch back to the player to do so.
